INTRODUCTION
Hi everyone, I am Ching Khai Yang. Welcome to my journal. I am one of the Logistic member of this group. Basically, our aim for this project (Science Learning Camp) held at Baitus Sakinah orphanage is to let those orphan have fun and love learning science.
22 February 2018
Today is our first meeting for the project. Work has been assigned to us which were different for every bureau. We ( Logistic group) had discussed about the accomodation and transportation that are necessary.
23 February 2018
This is our presentation day. The presenter did their best. We received feedback from lecturers to improve our project.
8 March 2018
We had our second meeting. This meeting is the rehearsal for the opening and ending ceremony. Theme song were teach here.
10 March 2018
Today is the day of the project. We went there by using Uber. After reach, we introduced ourself to all the orphans and make connection with them by chatting and play some mini games. The orphans ages are quite far too, so we face some little problems for those kids that were very shy. But lastly almost all of them managed to accept us and undergo our tentative. Time goes fast and its evening, we teach them the theme song. Of course, we did sing and dance with them. They managed to learn the song real quick as it was easy and interesting. During the night, they had perform us some shows by group. I was shocked that they could make performances at their ages.
11 March 2018
Today is the next and the last day of our camp. In the morning, the orphans had change their sport outfit and followed us to the nearby park to do morning exercises. Then, we had some science experiment games. I am in charge of one station. During the games, we teach them the scientific knowledge during the games. They were fast learner and keep on asking more questions. Gladly, we solved all their curiosity. At the closing ceremony, the video of our activities had been shown to review what had we done these precious 2 days. It was hard to left them after the camp ended. This will become memories that i wished i wont forget.
